Affordable food, great service and a nice place for some drinks…
Cool Irish pub with decent food. I've only had the burger, but it was cooked well and it was nice and juicy. My waiter was friendly and the pub itself is beautifully decorated with lots of dark wood. Cool spot overall.
What you would hope for in Irish American pub. Food was good. My son had the fish and chips and said they were top-notch. I had the corned beef Ruben, which was also very good. Great tap selection— both Irish and American staples and a good mix of local breweries thrown in. It was a good hang before seeing a movie down the street.
Multi floor neighborhood bar off the green. Public paid parking is available. Don't park in the monthly spots, or you'll be ticketed.
The bar has a decent menu, and the staff is great, but it's loud during the game's. So, if you're looking for a nice Irish pub with a quiet ambiance, this may not be a great fit.
Who is this woman? This bouncer wouldn’t stop grinding their jaw and followed my friends into the women’s restroom asking them for their phone numbers! What the hell!?? No one felt safe here and we won’t be coming back. Management needs to do better background checks!
Massive, busy, lively sports bar.
Food was good, service depends how busy the place is same as anywhere.
Beer selection is good, spirits selection looked fairly large.
Sports wise, it's a good bar for NHL football, it's a great bar for Football (sorry, Soccer), and is an official Arsenal supporters bar.
I think some of our lackluster experience was probably the result of going between lunch and dinner (2:30ish) so perhaps the pub wasn't fully staffed. That said, it wasn't 100% clear who our waiter was and we ended up bringing our bill up to the bar just to make sure we eventually got out of there. The decor and the beers were lovely and there was plenty of beers to chose from. But the food left a lot to be desired. There are never too many veggie options at an Irish pub, I went with nachos since it was 1 of three-ish non salad options (the others being veggie quesadillas and a veggie burger). The nachos met the bare minimum description written on the menu. That's about the nicest thing I can say about them. If you're coming here for beers or to watch the game sans food I imagine it's much more satisfying.
Update: I can't figure out how to reply to the reply without updating my review. In any case, that's nice of the owner to reply to my review. But I just called the restaurant and was told there was no one who could take my call and could I call back tomorrow...
We went for lunch and found the place to not be crowded mid-day on a Tuesday. The female bartender was lovely, taking pictures for us and giving us all the time in the world to chat, order and eat. The menu was very extensive and the prices were quite reasonable. The place is huge with an up and downstairs and I would guess is quite lively on the weekends.
